This “Wild and Woolly” exhibit tells the story of the last Ice Age, some twelve thousand years ago, when Saber Toothed Cats and Woolly Mammoths roamed North America. It was a time of great changes to the land and seas, the rise of man and the extinction of most large mammals.
This exciting exhibit includes four robotic mammals: Woolly Mammoth, Saber Toothed Cat, Giant Ground Sloth and Glyptodont. Also included are fully -articulated skeleton casts of a Dwarf Mammoth, Saber Toothed Cat, twelve hands on activities and participatory displays and a glacier simulator. Visitors will think this exhibit is really "cool".
